Force 5 Development

A Rural Midwest Farm

Opening Note

I grew up in rural Minnesota, where my passion for programming began with an Apple IIe and BASIC. My interest deepened in high school while working at a waterjet job shop, where I automated tasks in AutoCAD using LISP and developed a Windows Form application to streamline order processing. After serving in the military from 2005 to 2019, initially getting into construction and realestate; when that ran its course I transitioned back into programming, rekindling my passion with tools like Unity.

Today, I run Force 5 Development, a software studio, while finishing my final year in a Computer Science program. I don't expect this blog to gain much traffic; instead, I use it to archive school work, practice writing, and learn hands-on with web tools. Currently, I’m self-hosting this site on an old desktop PC in my basement.
